Organizational Structure

1. Organization

HSC is a non-profit youth soccer development corporation duly organized in the State of Virginia compliant with the tax-exempt requirements of section 501 ©, (3) of the U.S. Tax Code and holder of a sales exempt certification from the Virginia Department of Revenue. HSC has dedicated its resources to the development of a long-term, recreation and competitive youth soccer program in Washington County. HSC is an affiliate in good standing of and operates in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association.

2. Team Managers

Highlands Heat shall have an advisory body known as team managers, which shall be comprised of parent representatives of each team, who shall be selected by a vote of the parents on each team. The managers will be consulted on scheduling, events, all key policy initiatives, etc. at the team level.

3. Contracted Services

Provide Director of Training/Player Development function;

Provide Coordinator of Coaching responsibilities;

Provide technical/tactical coaching sessions with each team during the seasonal year;

Assist in coaching recruitment, selection, continuing education, and evaluation;

Assist in player try-outs and team selections;

    Assist in providing periodic player evaluations.
